GameChanger round 2 coming soon!
It’s been more than a year since the start of GameChanger. Over 16,000 people across the UK have played our smartphone tasks to help GameChanger researchers, based at the University of Oxford, learn about how our thinking abilities change as we get older.

The project led by University of Oxford and supported by Alzheimer’s Society has been running for nearly 3 months and the response has been amazing. Using a smartphone app has meant we have been able to gather an incredible amount of information about thinking abilities in people who don’t have dementia over a very short period of time

A Phenomenal First Week for GameChanger
This week over 15,000 people visited the GameChanger site. Over 7,500 of you signed up for the study, and more than 5,500 people have already got started playing games in the app.

GameChanger provides a unique opportunity for adults around the UK to contribute to research and help scientists understand what ‘typical’ thinking looks like. By understanding what’s typical, we will be better able to spot individuals showing the first signs of dementia.
